ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Adele a multi award winning specialist Newborn, family portrait photographer based in Porthcawl in Bridgend, South Wales, located just off the M4 between Cardiff and Swansea. 

 

My journey with photography started when I picked up a camera to take a family portrait at the age of six, and I loved it! So much so, I graduated with a first class and ever since been privileged to work with some world class designers, such as the BBC, Arts Council and smaller Art Houses in London and Bristol on collaboratively projects for Scissor Sisters and Franz Ferdinand to name a few. My successes also allow me to lecture Media, and in 2004 whilst delivering a Photography project to a School for young mums, I began what I have now moulded as newborn photography business. 

 

Since becoming a mum to our 5 year old chatterbox Layla and two toddlers Iestyn and Isaac, I have learnt how precious time is and the importance to hold onto the memories of them whilst they're still little. The photos we display at home are always a huge talking point as a family and to guests who visit. This is when I decided to launch Adele Morris Photography and start specialising in maternity, Newborn and family photography, to allow me to give my clients the experience of capturing those all-important moments with their children. 

 

Newborn and child safety is paramount and at the forefront of what I do, I hold an up to date enhanced DBS and I am one of only three photographers in Wales who has successfully completed certification course in newborn safety posing and continue to train yearly with the best Qualified Newborn trainers in the industry. 

 

After years of mastering the craft of photography, I am proud to be one of only a handful of Welsh based newborn and family Portrait photographers to have achieved Licentiate qualification, which means I produce work to a professional high standard. 

 

You might have spotted my photo on Vogue Italia  - a huge photography accomplishment for any Photographer! As a creative person I am also always learning and improving my skills and my work has been recognised and published in Swansea Life, South Wales Weddings and internationally in Bump, Baby and Beyond and International Kid Magazine. 

 

I have now been photographing and working with children for nearly 20 years and I’ve never looked back. Photography is my passion and I feel eternally grateful that I have a job that I love, that allows me to create beautiful memories for my clients and I can’t wait to meet you!
